SNEAK PEAK OF HALLOWEEN HORROR

Sorry about the bad quality pictures guys but here's a sneak peak at my halloween outfit! I'm far too excited for Halloween, it just cannot come soon enough. How amazing are those fangs though? They honestly look so real. They're made by 'scarecrow' and they're the small subtle fangs. My boyfriend is also getting a pair. I actually can't wait to post all of the pictures on here of me and my boyfriend in our outfits. So yeah here's a quick update. Oh and please comment below if you would like to see a nail tutorial as to how to do those nails!

Can anyone guess what I am going to be?

OOTD - 50 SHADES OF BLUE

Hi guys :) As you probably know I went on a bit of a shopping spree today and I just couldn't wait to actually do a blog post of me wearing the stuff I bought! So, here I am now writing this blog post for you eager for you to voice your opinions on my new stuff.

I absolutely ADORE thigh highs at the moment, they're just amazing. They slim my legs an incredible amount and everything about them is just perfect. I tried to steer clear from looking 'stripper-esque' and therefore purchased them in suede to ensure I really got away from that wet look leather and whips look. These can be worn with tights or bare legged it's totally up to you. At the back of the boots you may notice that I have attatched a piece of elastic. This prevents the boots from slipping down which is really good and you can't notice it either which is a definite bonus.

I bought this skirt as well today and as previously mentioned it is very puffy though this was tackled by my lovely long blue jacket which hid how puffy it was. Don't get me wrong I do love puffball skirts but this one just made me look a lot heavier than I am. Its so pretty though isn't it? The floral pattern is amazing. It kind of reminds me of mermaids, probably just me though haha.

My beloved bowler hat and new look earrings make a regular appearance on me. They're my go to items at the moment. Bowler hats are fabulous, not only do they look great but they also come to my rescue when I am having a bad hair day.

I also have a new favourite watch. Out with the old in with the new ey! I really like this watch, it's very vintage in style and anything vintage is beautiful in my eyes. So bye bye rolex hello vintage beautie!

Now I have to give the orange lipstick a mention. Isn't it remarkable? It's my favourite lipstick of all time. I have officially decided, and for a quid why wouldn't it be. Primarni wins once again.

CLOTHES/MAKEUP HAUL

So today I picked up a few things, there was a huge sale in Miss Selfridge so I simply had to take a peek. I got an unusual floral skirt from the Miss Selfridge sale for just £10. It kind of scares me a bit though haha. It's very bright and it's actually rather puffy so I'm still making my mind up about it.

I also got some rings and midi rings which I have been in desperate need of as my others went all green (good ol' primark) so it's good to finally have some. Also I picked up some cute frilly socks from Primark and a pair of over the knee socks. I quite fancied wearing the frilly socks with my leather chunky cut out buckle boots (that was rather a mouthful) and the over the knee socks with my new over the knee boots! They are aaaaamaaazzzing though I did have to add a bit of elastic to the back of them to ensure they stay up. I have wanted over the knee boots in black for ages so I'm ecstatic to finally have them. Anyway back to good old primarni, I also got some neon lipstick from there in orange and a deep pinky/purple kind of colour. May I just say, I adore the orange lipstick and how it looks when on. I know it may sound bizarre but it actually looks nice!

See, I told you! Orange lipstick is actually pretty nice. I think it may become my new thing.

So, what do you guys think of the skirt and is orange lipstick something you could see yourselves wearing?

PATTERNED TIGHTS AND BOWLER HATS

My outfit today was a bit more flamboyant that I would normally be. I felt like I wanted to stand out a little more so I wore some crazy patterned tights. I got a lot of looks at my legs today (good or bad I don't know, hopefully good). I love these tights though they're gorgeous.

I wore a dress I got from a car boot for like 10p and my moschino belt that I also got from a car boot ( I got the letters from the car boot and added them on to a belt). As for my nails, they were previously henry holland nails but I filed them down and painted them white. I love white stiletto nails they look classy but edgy at the same time. I also got my hands on the Topshop nail art tools today so I had a pretty successful day.
Please take a moment to appreciate my chunky cut out boots. They were only £35 as well and they're so comfy. I can't fault them. They are my favourite shoes of all time.

ZOMBIE POLICE WOMAN

Just a quick post to show you some of the makeup I have been practising ready for Halloween. I still need to add lots of fake blood but I didn't want to use that until Halloween. I will do a post of my full outfit etc. the day after Halloween. This is just to give you an idea of the look I am going for. I wanted to be a kind of 'pretty zombie' (sounds ridiculous I know) so I didn't want to go too gory. I just basically contoured my face using a green coloured eyeshadow and added green circles around my eyes. I topped it all off with a black lipstick and very messy backcombed hair.

OUTFIT/FACE OF THE NIGHT

So lastnight was my friends surprise 18th birthday party! I had such a great time it was a real laugh. I wore a 'dress' (I say dress; the top bit is a bodycon dress and I threw a black skater skirt over it). The flowery shoulder is so amazing it looks kind of classy and is very girly which is everything I love. I teamed it all with a black clutch bag, some gorgeous earrings and some heels (all of which are from newlook).

About my face, I am wearing mac studio sculpt foundation with the naked 2 palette on my eyes. I previously put the urban decay primer potion on which I think you pretty much have to buy when you buy this palette otherwise your eyeshadow comes off so much. This keeps it on for so so long put it this way I went to sleep in my makeup once after a night out (gross I know, there was no makeup wipes at my boyfriends house) and it had stayed on like pretty much perfectly all night. My eyeliner is just your bog standard rimmel eyeliner and on my lips is my MUA lipstick I bought for a pound in shade 7. On my eyebrows is the eyeluvbrows kit which is insanely good. Best eyebrow kit I have ever gotten in my life. It definitely tops the Benefit browzings kit which I can never use as it is too red for my eyebrows. I will probably put that up on eBay as it's basically brand new. My eyelashes are eyelure ones which I think are so nice and so easy to apply.

ADORING AUTUMN

I look so miserable on the last picture but my camera ran out of battery meaning I couldn't take any others! First off can I say that I HAVE ADVERTS yay! I don't quite know why I'm so excited about that but I understand that it can be very difficult to be accepted for adverts so I'm made up.

Today I really wanted to capture the beauty of autumn as well as showing you my outfit as I think the leaves lying around look so amazingly beautiful. Surprisingly, today was really rather warm in comparison with yesterday (we had a thunder storm!) but I did still decide to wear my big Primark coat. I love this coat, tweed is so me. I also wore my new big chunky boots. I have been dying to show you these boots they are so comfortable and were actually so cheap.

I kind of think the skirt and the jacket match. They're both kind of the same material though the skirt is lighter in colour. If they both fully matched the outfit would definitely look a bit odd. I actually wore my hair up today as well which isn't like me but it means that you can see my beautiful earrings from new look. I bought these for my 18th which was last Saturday but since then I have worn them near enough every day.

TWEED JACKET - PRIMARK

CHUNKY BOOTS - ST JOHNS PRECINCT (CAN BE PURCHASED FROM EBAY)

KNITTED SKIRT - TOPSHOP (I GOT MINE FROM A CHARITY SHOP)

WATCH - ROLEX

BELT - MOSCHINO (I GOT MINE FROM A CARBOOT)

BEAUTY THINGS I SUCK AT... TAG

So I have never done one of these before but when I got tagged in a post about this whole 'tag' thing I was actually pretty eager to try it out. I really should be writing the rest of my sociology essay that is due in for tomorrow but ah well, that can wait. The lovely Brittany tagged me from brittanysavannah and I thought I would give it a go.

1. The worst thing for me when it comes to beauty is lining my upper lid. I usually have to do it a fair few times before it goes half decent especially when its before sixth form and I'm tired. I think my eyeliner often looks sloppy. One sides usually very different than the other side and if i'm honest I am a bit of a perfectionist. I wont leave the house until they're pretty much the same which is probably the reason I am very often late. I always leave the house with remnants of eyeliner all over my hands too of where I have tried to rub parts off to make them look even. It's such a hassle!

2. The second worst thing for me has to be drawing on my eyebrows. I hate having to do it. I often see girls walking down the street with the worst 'scouse brow' ever known to man and I just pray that mine look natural. You see, I was born with dark brown hair yet I was cursed with the lightest eyebrows. They don't match my hair colour in the slightest, it's the oddest thing. If I dont pencil them in I look strange; especially if I apply eyeliner. Black eyeliner and dark hair with no eyebrows really isn't the prettiest sight. So yeah, every day I have to draw my eyebrows on which is such a pain and it's so difficult to make them look natural. My boyfriend very recently got me a new kit so I can't wait to get the hang of how to use it and to use that all of the time!

3. I hate using rollers. I am absolutely terrible at using them. Sometimes they make my fringe look so pretty but the rest of my hair never seems to come out right. I have given up with them now after trying to sleep in them and waking up with lumps all over my head (they are the most uncomfortable things ever to sleep in). It's probably my own fault for not buying the 'squishy' rollers (ones you can sleep in). But yeah I just find that they make my hair frizzy and don't even help me to achieve curls.

4. Painting my nails is also another hate of mine. I often rush them and they go ever so messy though if I take my time (and I mean take my time) then they do go quite nice sometimes but you have to give me a fair amount of time to get them right. Speaking of nails I am going to get a nice nail art kit from Topshop so hopefully I shall be having more success with them!

5. Acrylic nails - Me and acrylic nails just do not get on. I don't know if it's because I bought a cheap kit from eBay ( I hope so because then I have an excuse) but yeah when I did them they looked so awfully bumpy. I will not be trying my own acrylic nails again unless I get good equipment to use but I doubt I will. I love acrylic nails so it's such a shame!

There's 5 things related to beauty that I am absolutely terrible at. It's nice to have done my first tag. Anyone who's reading this then thank you :) I hope that everyone I tag will also give it a try!

I am tagging :
Also anyone else who would is lovely enough to read my blog. Just drop me a comment and I'll take a look at your answers!

18TH BIRTHDAY OUTFIT

Can I just say that these photos are awful of me but I cant figure out how to use my camera properly yet. Apologies for that but hopefully I will have it figured soon enough. For my 18th I wore a 'glam' prom style dress with sky scraper heels and some statement earrings. I didn't actually wear the necklace on my birthday but I really wanted to show you all it. It's so pretty, I adore it.

The only downfall of the dress is that it absolutely MURDERS. It's so painful to wear due to the beads/sequins at the top of the dress. All of my arms were scratched at the end of the night. Was it worth it? I'd say so.

The heels are amazing, I can't fault them. They're mega easy to walk in (I usually can't walk in high heels but these were fine!) and they don't even hurt (obviously they do after wearing them for aaaageeeesss but it's nothing compared to my other heels). They look amazing and feel amazing. Would definitely recommend them.

I adoooore the earrings so much. They're big but not too big. Hate earrings that are far too big, they can ruin your outfit. I think they actually look pretty classy with this outfit. The nails are also amazing especially for a £1 from Primark. They're all lacey and mega feminine which is right up my street.
