ST MORIZ IS THE BIZ

Apologies for the messy St Moriz bottle and the cheesy post name. Anyway here's a review on the St Moriz Dark tanning mousse which I am sure you have all heard of (if not then you are missing out!!). It's very cheap and is meant to give you 'a professional flawless tan for a deeper sunkissed glow' and if I am honest it does just that. It's amazing, the best fake tan I have ever worn in my life! And for around £3 how can you refuse? It comes in a nice sized bottle meaning you get a lot of it and these bottles do last for a while. The mitt I use is also very good, its a very cheap one from primark (its bright orange, you'll know it when you see it). I think it was around £2. So for around £5 you can give yourself a perfect no - streak tan. I simply had to buy a mitt as I hate it when fake tan goes on your hands and can't be removed so your left with horrible orange hands! It's not a good look. It's also much easier to apply fake tan evenly with a mitt and takes a quarter of the time.

This is the colour of my legs before the fake tan. I wanted a deeper colour as I do have a pale skin tone and find that with darker hair, I look unhealthy therefore I put fake tan on to give myself a healthy glow.

This is just after the fake tan has been applied. As you can see you do get instant results however it does develop and go even darker which I personally love.

These are my legs after the fake tan has developed, as you can see they are much darker and don't worry I can assure you they do not look orange. It's a natural brown colour. I applied a few coats for it to go this dark.

Pros -

  • Cheap
  • Effective
  • You get a lot
  • Nice colour
  • Doesn't smell bad
  • Doesn't streak
  • Easy to use pump mechanism
Cons -

  • If applied on the same day as getting wet then the tan will streak (I went on a night out and it rained)
  • If left unused for a while it can go green
Overall, this fake tan is absolutely amazing and I just can't compliment it enough. The only problem I encountered with it is that if I apply it on the same day as I go out then rain makes it go all blotchy or if I spill something on it then I get a big white patch however this is my own fault as I am too lazy to apply it a few days before. In my opinion the colour dark is the best colour. I recommend every skin tone to get the dark colour as you can actually make it be as light/dark as required. I am very pale and I can make it go slightly darker than my skin colour and not very very dark. The medium doesn't produce as nice of a colour I found and you have to apply many more coats in order to get anywhere with it!
